Over the course of the event, there will be sessions discussing climate finance, carbon markets and just
transition from a range of speakers from the public and private sector. This content will be structured
into daily plenaries and a series of workshops with a Marketplace area that facilitates exploration,
discovery and networking.

Yes, BEC has 4000 spaces available across three different
areas. The blue area is closest to Halls 1 & 2, where I4C
will be based. BEC encourage attendees to pre-book their
parking to guarantee a space is reserved. For more detailed

We have negotiated preferential rates with some hotels in the
area, subject to availability. Booking and paying for the
hotel is the responsibility of each participant and must be
done by contacting the hotel directly. Please visit the

features the hotel codes you should apply when booking to take
advantage of our preferential rates.
If you have an existing registration for the in person I4C event in Bilbao, the system will not allow you to make a duplicate virtual registration using your email address. Please contact the help desk on support@innovate4climateconference.com and they will be able to switch your existing in-person registration to virtual.
YCI is a platform for young professionals and students aged
18-35 to learn and exchange ideas on their role in scaling-up climate action and
climate-resilient recovery. For the 2023 edition of YCI, I4C will seek to engage 100+
young climate innovators from around the world committed to careers in climate action,
policy and international development for a half-day program on Monday, May 22. YCI will
be a hybrid event with options to join in-person and online. For more

The Journalists Workshop is a half-day event designed
specifically for international media professionals to delve into the topic of climate
finance, providing participants with expert knowledge and tools that can be applied in
their professional work. For the 2023 edition, the Journalists Workshop will take place
on Monday, May 22 in a hybrid format. For more information, click

timely cancellation will enable us to open up your spot for another participant and sustainably manage
our resources.
Yes we have limited spaces across many of the sessions, so
make sure you book your session in advance to avoid
disappointment and to be guaranteed a place.
To book a space in a session you need to click the 'save a
seat' icon on the left hand side of a session. You can view
a list of all your saved sessions by navigating to the 'My
Registered Sessions' tab on the Agenda page.
If you can't see this icon, please ensure you are logged in
by clicking the link in your 'Agenda Launch' email or by
clicking 'Login' in the top right of the agenda, then
entering your ticket number and email address from the same
email.
Yes, the session times showing on the agenda are based on
the local time in Bilbao, which is GMT +2.
To log into the site automatically, please click the link
in your 'Agenda Launch' email which will take you to the I4C
2023 website and keep you logged in. To check if you are
logged in, click on the 'Agenda tab' and if you are logged
in a 'Logout' button will show on the top right of the
agenda or 'Login' will show if you are not logged
in.
